I have the best customers. I was just thinking yesterday, hmm, maybe I should get some T-shirts made. Lol. Then these were waiting for me when I got to the shop this morning. Thanks Mike!

The man in the image (also on the pedal/amp PCBs etc) is my grandfather, Lee Hunt, at his radio intercept station in Liangshan, China, 1945. He’s the reason I got into building things and is the spirit behind everything at Swell Amplification.

There are two types of people in the world:

-those who don’t know they’re designing antennas

When I was designing this pedal, I realized that the second group includes members of the first group.

I’ve got two Crystal Codexes left in pearlescent white powdercoat like this one. Going to stick with metallic gray powder for the foreseeable future.

What do you all think of the silver lettering? I’m going to try a shade or two darker on the next build.

This one has the new k**b design. They’re a bit smaller, light up just a little more, and are substantially easier to manufacture. As always the new process took a lot of trial and error to and the jigs themselves took 5 times as long to make. But soon I will be able to offer a couple different k**b options.

The old growth flame maple was a gift from my friend Mr. Gil Yaron.
