Our Flag Fridays are about appreciating the flag and all that it represents. For us, part of that is the wildlife, outdoor heritage, and places worth protecting. Right now, the future of some of our most important wildlife habitat needs our attention.
The Prairie Pothole Region, known as the Duck Factory, is some of the most important wildlife habitat in North America. Protections that have been in place for decades are at risk of being weakened, putting critical wetlands and breeding habitat at risk.
There is a limited public comment period open right now, but time is running out. Hunters, anglers, and conservationists of every kind have an opportunity to make their voices heard and stand up for a place that has supported wildlife for generations.
