When I first began my journey as a floral artist, I was unsure of so many things. I played it safe with my designs because I wanted to fit in. I worried about being visible because of racism, and I was afraid to fully set my artistry free.
It took years to give myself permission to step into my fullest potential. To celebrate who I am, embrace my creativity, encourage my own growth, and share everything I’ve learned over the last 20 years as a floral artist with the world.
Here’s what I know now: Don’t let the world convince you to hold back, to dim your light, or to fit into a box that was never made for you.
Be yourself; boldly and proudly. Keep growing. Keep creating. Keep blooming.
