🎨 A Little About the Artist…
Born in Moscow, Russia, in 1938, Misha Frid studied at the prestigious Moscow State Art College, graduating with honors. In 1972, he emigrated from the Soviet Union to North America in search of greater artistic freedom.
His sculptures are deeply influenced by classical music, Russian ballet, romance, and the beauty of the human form. Frid is particularly known for his ability to make solid bronze appear almost weightless, capturing dancers and musicians in moments of extraordinary movement.
🌎 His artwork has been exhibited internationally, including in Paris, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and New York, and is represented in private, corporate, and institutional collections around the world.
