🚨🚨 VENDOR SCAM ALERT — PLEASE READ AND SHARE! 🚨🚨

I have recently become aware of someone named Alex Brown reaching out to people who have interacted with my vendor recruitment posts, claiming to be connected to PickTown Marketplace and telling potential vendors that the vendor fee is $80.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS PERSON IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO RECRUIT VENDORS OR COLLECT MONEY ON BEHALF OF PICKTOWN MARKETPLACE!

I want to make sure nobody is scammed or sends money to the wrong person.

❤️ HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

📌 My name is Ashley Cirotto, and I am the ONLY person responsible for vendor recruitment and vendor agreements at PickTown Marketplace. My name is the only name you should associate with becoming a vendor at my shop.

📌 You will ONLY hear from me through:

* My personal Facebook profile under the name Ashley Cirotto
* Our official email: [email protected]
* Our official PickTown Marketplace Facebook Messenger

📌 An $80 vendor fee is NOT one of our vendor options. Do not send money or provide personal information to anyone claiming to represent my shop without verifying directly with me first.

📌 If you receive a suspicious message or have any doubts, please contact me directly through one of the official methods listed above. You are always welcome to visit the shop and speak with me face-to-face!

I work hard to build a welcoming community for our local small businesses and makers, and I would hate for anyone to lose money while trying to become part of it.

PLEASE SHARE THIS POST! Help me spread the word so potential vendors know who to trust and can protect themselves from scams. ❤️

Thank you for helping protect our vendors and our community!
