Quick reminder to send an email to Mark Malone to protest the current plan for Hwy 85, Cheyenne Crossing to Wyoming. A road plan for resurfacing and modified speed limits, without the straightening and damage to the canyon could be funded by SD. If the federal government is not involved, the criteria to widen the road to the extent that would harm the scenery would not need to be followed.
Our emails must be sent by June 19th.

Click the link for information about the reconstruction of highway 85 from Cheyenne Crossing to Wyoming. This project proposes cutting out land, trees, etc to turn that beautiful landscape into the sterilized vista like Spearfish Canyon.
Let's all go make our voices heard. If you wonder what that would look like check out what they have done to highway 385. (Picture is hwy 385 recently. This is a 3 yr project.)
