🇺🇸 25 YEARS LATER — WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸

September 11, 2001.

25 years have passed, but it remains a day that changed America forever.

Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives that were taken far too soon. We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger when every instinct told them to run away.

We remember the husbands and wives who never came home. The mothers and fathers. The sons and daughters. The friends and coworkers. The families whose lives were forever changed in a matter of moments.

But we also remember what happened after.

For a moment, we weren’t divided by politics, backgrounds, beliefs, or differences.

We were simply Americans.

Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers helped strangers. Flags flew from porches, businesses, vehicles, and street corners across this country. In one of America’s darkest moments, we were reminded just how much light can come from people choosing to stand together.

25 years later, that is something worth remembering too.

At Country Pickins’ Flea Market, we’re blessed to be part of communities where neighbors still look out for one another. Today, across all of our locations, we join our communities and our country in honoring every life lost, every family forever affected, and every hero who answered the call.

May we never forget the lives that were lost.

May we never forget the heroes who ran toward danger.

May we never forget the families who still carry that loss today.

And may we never forget how united we once stood.
