Think your tomato has what it takes?

This year's Heirloom Tomato Festival has a full slate of contests for tomato lovers of all kinds, with prizes and bragging rights on the line.

Tomato-Themed Baking Contest – 1:00 PM inside The Old Train Depot
No entry fee, no age limit. Bring your best tomato-infused sweet or savory baked good.
Prizes:

1st Place (Sweet & Savory): $50
2nd Place (Sweet & Savory): $25
Entry guidelines will be posted in a few days.

Largest Tomato Contest – Bring your homegrown giant to The Old Train Depot for official weighing.

The Big Bad & The Ugly – Got the fattest tomato hornworm? Bring it, alive and in a jar, to compete for the title.

Freaks of the Vine – Lumpy, weird, or just plain bizarre. Show off your oddest tomato and let the judges decide.

Cherry Tomato Spitting Contest – Just for fun.

Judging for the tomato, hornworm, and oddity contests begins at 3:00 PM inside The Old Train Depot.

All contests take place Saturday, August 22 in Pierceton, Indiana. Entry drop-off is inside The Old Train Depot. Contestants must be present to win.

🚘 Our Pierceton Days Car & Bike show was rescheduled due to weather! Mark your calendars for August 22nd! We will have it during the Heirloom Tomato Festival which should be really fun!!!

Show will be 12pm - 5pm with awards at 5pm

📍 Location: 208 W Market St Pierceton
At the First Baptist Church Parking lot and surrounding streets. (All paved)

📝 Registration: Behind Bar 13/Kelsea Designs on corner of Second & Market St.
$20 day-of
$15 pre-registration if check mailed with your information in advance!

We are so sorry to announce we are postponing the Car show that was scheduled for this evening. We will announce more details with exact time and location very soon, but it will be August 22nd during the Heirloom Tomato Festival!!!

Thank you all for an amazing Pierceton Days! It was a great success with a spectacular parade, vendors and FOOD!!!
