For starters, this is a very hard post to make. We opened our Pigeon Forge location in the middle of the COVID pandemic in hopes that it would pass quickly. We had been working on opening since before it all started and were unable to postpone our opening due to our lease. We had high expectations and high hopes that this location was where we needed to be in order to continue growing. Unfortunately, we’ve dealt with many issues along the way, and continually have struggled to find adequate staffing. We have had the pleasure of employing some truly amazing people that we can in no way fault for wanting to better themselves and obtain full-time employment. None the less, we’ve never been able to find a groove to stay in long enough to make it feasible to continue having that location up and running. Sadly, as of April 30, 2022, we will be closing the doors on AppAppCo - PF. We want to thank all of our employees, customers, and wonderful people we’ve met along the way. We have had so many amazing conversations with people from all over the world, and hope to continue to serve those customers online. We will continue to operate in-store at our Hazard, Ky location and will be focusing on improving the online customer experience over the next few weeks as we sort things out.

That being said, y’all come by tomorrow (Friday) 10-6pm and take advantage of some awesome sales!!! $8 logo tees and $10 graphic tees!

🚨IT’S MEET THE TEAM MONDAY!🚨

Let us introduce one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Meet Christopher Smith. Originally from Southern Illinois, he and his wife, Dawn, relocated approximately 1.5 yrs ago to the beautiful Smoky Mountains, which had been a dream for many years. Along with their youngest son, Erik, who previously worked for Appalachian Apparel, they have been enjoying "retirement ". They also have a wonderful older son Devon and daughter in law Stephanie that reside in northern Indiana. Christopher is quite the socialite and loves finding out about people who visit the store. His warm inviting smile and conversation will keep ya smiling for hours . Both Chris and his wife are artistically inclined. Christopher builds guitars, cigar box guitars, amps, refurbing traditional guitars and would like to establish a luthier shop soon in the area. Christopher has an eye, and ear, for talent. Dawn loves to oil paint and has many pieces available on display for sale at Appalachian Apparel PF. Come check out the amazing team at AppAppCo PF! You wont regret it. ⛰

✨It’s Meet the Team Monday (on Tuesday 😂)! ✨
Last time you met Lauren, now meet her sister, Abbi! We’ve got some sister power going on in Pigeon Forge! Abbi is also Hazard, KY-bred, Tennessee-raised into retail and customer service is engrained in her DNA. Abbi’s got a million-dollar smile that makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. She’s mama to Salem Grace and fur mama to Cash and Lonnie! Abbi is an extremely passionate advocate for animals (especially pit bulls) and is constantly supporting and advocating for rescues in the East Tennessee area. Abbi, Landon and Salem live in Maryville (about an hour from the Pigeon Forge store) and spend lots of time with their families (especially watching their nephew, Lauren’s son Liam, play sports) and on the lake. Make sure to stop in and say hi to Abbi and Salem! ✨⛰
