With the All Star game behind us and the pennant race in full swing it's time to offer some baseball history for sale! Each authentic ticket stub is a one of a kind item and will come with a certificate describing the history of the game the ticket represents.

Today's offering is a unique yet affordable piece of baseball and American history. This Brooklyn Dodgers ticket from the 1940s is for a Ladies Day game where ladies were admitted for a discount price to Brooklyn's Ebbets Field. This Branch Rickey era ticket stub is from the days when Jackie Robinson made American history by breaking baseball's shameful color barrier. The lady who purchased this ticket was a witness to baseball history when "Dem Bums" represented the borough of Brooklyn. Perhaps Jackie Robinson stole home that day?

With Spring training in full swing and a new baseball season right around the corner it's time to offer some vintage baseball history for sale. We focus on the golden era of baseball history - when names like Ruth, Mantle, DiMaggio, Williams, Aaron and Bench dominated sports headlines and America's game.

Here are nine baseball relics, tickets used by a witness to games in baseball's bygone era, that we're offering out of our private collection. These historic pieces run from the 1930s through the 50s and down to the 1970s. All tickets come with a certificate that explains the history on its specific game and are available for pickup here in eastern Kentucky in the Pikeville area - or for shipping cost I can mail them to you.

Looking for a special Valentines gift for the baseball fan in your life? How about something truly unique - get them a vintage ticket from baseball history. These relics are historical artifacts of a day in the sun when someone watched legends named Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Mantle, Williams, Aaron, Bench, Rose and other baseball legends play ball.

The photos only show a small sample of some of the tickets we have available. We specialize in historical baseball from the turn of the century through the 1970s. Our focus is games in which Hall of Famer's played. Inquire about your favorite team or player and I'll let you know what we have.

Prices are listed in the photos for the tickets pictured - all sales of more than $30 come with a certificate for the ticket explaining the history behind the game played that day. Under $30 the certificates are still available for a small fee.

Here's our third offering on vintage ticket discounts for the duration of the World Series. This one has some special items for Cubs fans and a pair of modern tickets from a day Pujols and Trout both homered for the Angels. Here's day two of our World Series celebration specials! We're offering these relics from baseball history at special prices ONLY until the last out of the World Series. After that everything returns to regular price. Get these great artifacts of baseball history as a unique Christmas gift for the baseball loving fan in your family. Each item comes with a certificate that explains what happened in the game, which Hall of Famer players were involved and the history surrounding the event (see examples in the first couple photos).

Pick up an awesome ballpark relic for the Yankees fan in your life. This ticket stub comes from the 2017 American League Championship Series game 3 when Judge hit a playoff home run in his rookie season. Better than a rookie card this ticket was in the park when Judge bashed his bomb in Yankee stadium. I have 3 of these from consecutive seats - they're $10 each or $25 for all 3 (they come with our standard certificate that tells the history associated with the ticket). Last night Albert Pujols became only the fourth member of the 700 home run club! His rookie card can be found in every collectible shop and Ebay lists over 6,100 to sell - you can literally buy thousands of the same example if you wish.

But what about a near mint copy of a season ticket of a game he actually hit a home run? Most tickets were folded, shoved in pockets and generally discarded after the game. This beautiful example of a Cardinals season ticket from 2011 was used by someone to witness Pujols hit one of his home runs. Unlike a baseball card this relic is a witness to baseball history. We only have two to sell - this one and one from his rookie season that will be posted later.

This Milwaukee Braves ticket stub to the game on May 1st, 1954 might be my favorite. Hank Aaron played for the Braves that day but didn't hit a home run. Why is this stub so cool then? On that day Aaron was a mere 20 years old playing in only his 14th game of his rookie season. He had a grand total of 2 home runs to his name when someone used this ticket to watch him play. I wonder if they had any clue that young rookie would one day become baseball's all-time home run leader? Doubt it.

Sorry I've not posted anything in a bit - I've been working at putting a bunch of tickets on consignment at Page 3 Comics in Pikeville. I've finally got the certificates ready for the ticket stubs. Here's a sample of what the certificates will look like (both front and reverse). The certificate tells the story of the game and Hall of Famers who played that day. For example, this sample from 1959 was a game Mickey Mantle played in and the 1949 game matched Ted Williams of the Red Sox against Joe Dimaggio and the Yankees.
