I'm so glad this law was passed. From the HSCG (Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild) website: " A physical address requirement was a burden on small businesses that operate out of their primary residence.." I put up my Google business profile before this law was passed, and I admit my introvert self was a little nervous when I saw that Google told me people were asking for directions. I've since closed that profile and removed my address. ☺️

Hi folks. Someone asked a great question of me through Etsy regarding the use of sodium lactate in soap. Not every soaper uses it, but lots of soapers do. I first learned about it through the Soap Queen herself, Anne-Marie Faiola. Sodium lactate is a salt derived from the fermentation of sugars found in corn and beets. It helps to harden soap bars and with unmolding. You can learn more from Anne-Marie's excellent article on the topic.

Hi folks! There's fresh tallow soap in the shop. These are bigger bars than my last batch. I plan on making two more batches shortly, both smaller, one with lavender essential oil.

This handmade soap is made with only four ingredients: Grass-fed beef tallow made in the USA, water, lye, and sodium lactate. Its unscented, undyed, and each bar weighs at least 5.57 oz. It has great lather. I like this for my dry, sensitive skin. Due to the handmade nature, please allow for
