Launched in 2010, Small Business Saturday is celebrating their 12th year of shining a light on America’s 32.5 million small businesses. This is a movement like no other in our Coral Gables business community!

Each Fall, your Coral Gables Chamber serves as a Neighborhood Champion and best practice organization for the locally owned businesses in our community. Since the beginning, our Chamber’s support of this initiative has been unwavering.

“What began as a way to support struggling small businesses more than a decade ago, has now turned into a national movement and our Coral Gables business community has been at the epicenter since the very beginning. Hailed as a “best practice” community by American Express, our Gables Chamber and local small business community will once again be front and center on Small Business Saturday.” said Mark A. Trowbridge, President and CEO of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.

Small Business Saturday® packs a mighty punch. Nationally, consumers spent more than $20 billion on that day according to the 2021 Small Business Saturday Consumer Insights Survey from the National Federation of Independent Business and American Express. Plus, these local businesses create two out of every three jobs in the US, indicting the true power and impact of small businesses.

We invite you join us as we support the “little guys” in our business community, the brick and mortar locations that bring much of the charm that our City Beautiful is known for, while showcasing the products and services you need, both in-person and online!

On Small Business Saturday, we’re kicking off the festivities at 10 AM at My Grooms Room / Sartori Amici located at 225 Miracle Mile. In celebration of Small Business Saturday, we invite you to join us for this momentous occasion with a proclamation presentation by Mayor Vince Lago before you head out for a day of shopping small!

Tune-in on social media ( on Instagram) as we highlight retailers that have chosen to call Coral Gables home. These features will shine a spotlight on some of this season’s most on trend gifts and hand-selected finds, priced to match any budget.
On November 26th, we pay homage to you: the risk-takers and the dreamers, the creative forces and the family-owned, the homegrown and the locally sourced. You are the ones that are hiring the next generation, creating much needed jobs and contributing to the success of the community that we love and call home.
