“An Underwater Breath”
16in x 20in acrylic on canvas 2025

While I typically enjoy painting wildlife, as an outlet, I also love painting portraits and emotions.
This painting depicts a woman underwater; not totally drowning but unable to breathe. There is a certain calm and stillness that she feels in her silence.
The stress of life can sometimes feel that our heads are deep underwater and I wanted to portray that feeling and emotion onto the canvas.

Original painting has been sold but prints and greeting cards are available to purchase on my website.

Days like this 🥰
I love getting to paint with my little girl! She is already such an artist and really loves to paint too!
This piece is still a work in progress but wanted to show the beginning process because it can be daunting looking at a blank canvas.
My reference image I am using was designed by me with graphic design.
I love using my skills I have learned on the computer to come up with my concepts for painting originals. Painting is much easier when you have a reference to refer too.
I have been loving this new messy process of laying down light and carefree washes of acrylic first. Later on, I will go through and add larger washes and use a blow dryer to splash it out.
Stay tuned to see how this piece turns out!

Rebrand!!
I know I have definitely not been keeping up on social media but I’m excited to announce a new complete rebrand! Although I have enjoyed my time as a graphic designer, I have realized painting is my true passion and I am so excited to continue this journey with all of you! Coming up you can expect to see more of my artwork and previous works that I have not shared on here. I hope you enjoy seeing what I love to do!
