A nice field of 22 cars filled the "Boulevard Bullring" pits for this past week's 1 RC Racing, LLC "Thursday Night Thunder". We had 6 each in the Asphalt Modified, Asphalt Late Model, and Super Truck divisions, plus 4 of the 1/24th Asphalt Late Models. The customary two rounds of Heat races were run, and it was Ryan "Sizzlin'" Simmonds setting the TQ pace for the AM division, Tom Tartarzewski grabbed the TQ for the ALMs, while "Mowin'" Owen Koehler set the TQ mark for the STs and 24s. 1RC Racing 1/24 Asphalt Late Model A-Main

Ryan led early from the Pole in the Asphalt Modified A-Main but slipped up on entry to Turn 3 and turned the top spot over to Owen. Owen kept a handle on the lead for the remainder of the race for the win. Ryan would keep the pressure on, scoring the "Redbox" with a 2.249, but couldn't make a pass stick. The Asphalt Late Model A-Main was a slugfest. Tom led early, then lost the lead to Ryan. Then Ryan had the difficult task of defending the top spot from Tom, Matt, John and Owen. As the race nears it's end, Tom puts the heat on and gets by for the lead. Owen has worked up from 5th to 3rd and throws into battle with Ryan. Then Matt makes a bid for 3rd again as the White flag flies. Tom gets to the Checkered flag for the win and tags the "Redbox" at a 2.446. Ryan holds 2nd, followed by Owen, Matt and John. Tom kept rolling in the Super Trucks, wrestling the lead away from Owen about 10-laps in and led the rest of the way. He scored the "Redbox" as well with a 2.401. The 1/24th Asphalt Late Models put on a good show again. Owen, Tom, and Brian had a decent battle up front, while Ryan got his car a lot closer to the pace. Tom was able to get the top spot from Owen and had enough to hold off a late charge from Brian to snag the win. Tom also wrapped up another "Redbox" with a 2.469.

We have received the latest Ready-To-Run Drift car from MST - Max Speed Technology 得隆科技!!!
This is the RMX 4 RTR with the XBLS S60A Sensored ESC and matching 17.5T Sensored brushless motor.
The RMX 4 features a NEW Steering Arm System with fine Ackermann adjustment and built-in 3° caster angle to reduce steering pump, plus a V3 Knuckle Set optimized for large steering angles; 0° trail for fast initial response, wide throw for maximum drift angle. The driveline has an Anti-Torque 4-Gear Transmission included; easily convertible to a standard 3-gear layout for torque-positive setup. The chassis has three Adjustable Wheelbase Options (257 / 266 / 275mm) for versatile body compatibility. Last week's 1 RC Racing, LLC "Thursday Night Thunder" had eleventeen entries across three divisions. Three - Sprint cars, and four each of the Eastern Dirt Modifieds and Dirt Late Models. That allowed us to run three rounds of Heat races to set the A-Mains. "Mowin'" Owen Koehler was able to lock down the TQ spots for the Sprint and DLM divisions, while To Tartarzewski grabbed the EDM TQ spot. Check the A-Main Results and Pics below.

The Sprint car A-Main was dominated from Flag-to-Flag by Owen, and he grabbed the "Redbox" at 2.467 seconds. The battle for 2nd was fantastic though. John wrestled it away from Ryan early on. Ryan wasn't going away, staying on John's tail tank for the rest of the way. John had a little bobble on a late restart and Ryan was there to pounce for the spot. Tom led from the Pole to the Checkered flag in the EDM A-Main, but Owen was hounding him relentlessly for the entire race distance. Our protagonist from the previous race, Ryan and John, tussled straight through for the 3rd spot. Owen was able to squeak out the "Redbox" at a 2.450. The final A-Main was the DLMs, and Owen held serve from the tone over Ryan. The lap times were very close as Ryan kept the pressure on Owen, but he could not get close enough to make a pass stick. Tom and John turned in solid runs for 3rd and 4th. Owen would make it a "Redbox" sweep, lapping the "Boulevard Bullring" at a 2.423 with the DLM.
Once more, I thank these guys for making the effort to show up and make our 1RC race program happen. This week we will be on our final group in the rotation. The Asphalt Modifieds, Asphalt Late Models, Super Trucks, and 1/24 Asphalt Late Models will hit the track Thursday. Hopefully we'll see you then.

We have some of the latest models from Rage RC in stock now......the Micro B-25 RTF Micro Warbird and the F-16 Micro RTF Brushless EDF.
The Micro B-25 RTF is a semi-scale replica that has everything included for easy flying fun. If you want to show-off, then just press the Stunt button and the B-25 will also perform a nice, smooth loop.
The F-16 Micro RTF Brushless EDF includes the PASS (Pilot Assist Stability Software) system which allows the performance envelope of the airplane to expand with your flying skills. This feature can be set to Full, Partial, or Expert Assist levels, depending on your skill set. And there is also the Stunt button for trouble free Loops or Rolls.

A bit smaller field of 14 for this past week's 1 RC Racing, LLC "Thursday Night Thunder". There were 4 each of the Midgets and Super Modifieds, along with 3 each of the Open Wheel Modifieds and Street Stocks. We did run three rounds of Heats with the lighter turnout and saw some real good battles across the class divisions. Tom Tartarzewski was able to grab the TQ spots for the OWMs and Super Modifieds. For the Midget and Street Stock divisions, it was "Mowin'" Owen Koehler taking the TQs. The A-Main race Results and Pics are below.

Still some quality racing on the night among these guys. Thanks for showing up and supporting us. Owen took the Midget A-Main Flag-to-Flag and snagged the "Redbox" at a 2.457. The battle for second was a real war between Tom, John and Ryan. Tom held the lead all the way in the OWM A-Main, but Owen shadowed his every move for 30-laps. Ryan was on pace and in the hunt but stayed 3rd. All three drivers ran in the 2.4 second bracket, but Owen ended up with the "Redbox" at 2.473. The Street Stock A-Main was closely contested between Owen and Tom for the entire race distance. Owen had just two small slips that afforded Tom the opening to sn**ch the lead away. Tom was solid on the last couple of restarts and secured the win. Owen did get the "Redbox" with a 2.493. Tom has his Super Modified really groovin' right now and took this win in Flag-to-Flag style. Ryan stayed within a few car lengths most all the way, keeping him honest. John had good pace finishing in 3rd, while Owen bowed out early with some handling difficulties. Tom scored the "Redbox" with a 2.137 second trip around the "Boulevard Bullring".
Tom was able to keep the "Beard" at bay this week, but you know Owen will buckle down and bring the fight right back this week. On tap we have the 1RC Racing Sprint cars, Eastern Dirt Modifieds, and Dirt Late Models. We'll see who can be the top dog, catch you all then.

Practice with I-Laps starts about 5:30 and Heat racing starts at 7ish.

We had a solid 22 car field for this past week's 1 RC Racing, LLC "Thursday Night Thunder". There were 6 each of the Asphalt Modifieds and Super Trucks, along with 5 each of the Asphalt Late Models and 1/24th Asphalt Late Models.
Two rounds of Heat races kicked off the night. Our Heat races are 15-laps each, with a re-sort after the rounds. That will then pit 1st round Heat race winners against each other in the 2nd round.
For those not familiar with the "Boulevard Bullring", it is a 1/18th scale - 1/8th mile, office carpet oval track. The wood surface underneath has the been kicked up at each end for some "Banking". This affords some fast corner speeds and results in most all 1RC car divisions to lap in the 2.5 second bracket.
After the Heat races were complete, we had Ryan "Sizzlin'" Simmonds taking the Asphalt Modified TQ spot. Meanwhile, Tom Tartarzewski missed last week but returned with a vengeance - sweeping the other 3 division's TQ spots. Be sure and check below for the Results and Pics.

All four A-Mains were hotly contested affairs. Ryan was able to lead Flag-to-Flag in the Asphalt Modified race but had constant pressure from Brian. Owen fought out of the B-Main for a solid 3rd, ahead of Rich and John. Tom was top man in both the Asphalt Late Model and Super Truck A-Main, but Owen kept the heat on him in both divisions. I don't think they were ever more than a car length apart in the ALM race. Plus, the battle for 3rd was absolutely epic between Brian, John and Ryan. Our final A-Main of the night would be the smallest cars (1/24th ALMs), but they put on a BIG show. Tom, Owen, and Brian all had turns at the head of the pack, with Owen wrestling away the win at the end. Ryan was still coming to terms with his little racer and should be on pace next time around. The "Redbox" is the fastest lap in each race attained by one of the racers. This week Ryan grabbed the AM "Redbox" @ 2.315 seconds, Tom took it in the ALMs @ 2.441, while Owen sn**ched the STs and the 24s @ 2.377 and 2.576 seconds respectively.
Thanks once more go to these dedicated racers for showing up and supporting our 1RC racing program. I certainly appreciate it. this week we will end September's schedule at the top of our rotation - Midgets, Open Wheel Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Super Modifieds. We'll see you there.
