I specialize in repair, and restorations; especially of fi****ms other “gunsmiths” will not touch, mind you all such work sometimes takes time, so if you’re in a hurry I would suggest go somewhere else. Quality takes time. Now to a bit of a background concerning my business, I started in the “gun” business in September 1985, Ronald Regan was President, and inspired through the president, and Rush Limbaugh I decided to open my own business. It’s had its ups, and downs over the years, and even now sometimes it can be quite trying; however all in all it’s good. My father was a gunsmith, and my family history actually on both sides, was very involved in weaponry, dating from around 400 AD through present day. I was taught my skill from both my father, and a gunsmith of unequal knowledge C. Huston. I have worked on fi****ms dating from the middle 19th century through our fantastic technological age of the 21st century. I work with four other highly trained personal, which have their business, involved with either Gunsmithing, and or machinery, so if I cannot recreate the part needed, or need other expertise I have it available at a phone call away. That all being said; I must inform you that any firearm made prior of 1949 will usually require a greater amount of time, due to the shortage of parts, and lack of schematics, sadly that may also be said of some more modern fi****ms. I will advise you when I see your fi****ms. I will also add that repairs will take precedence over special projects, and or restorations. I have a fully equipped shop, with lathe, and milling capabilities, bluing, and stock work; especially old fashion hand rubbed oil. Yes I will also work on synthetic stocks, and even modern Mattel snap together fi****ms; although nothing quite is as totally cool, as working on a handmade rifle, shotgun or handgun from the middle of the 19th century. One must crawl into the mind of the long deceased gunsmith who created such a piece of beauty, and long forgotten workmanship.
