Ok yall, here's the deal. In November of 2020 I started selling on-line. I had sold on-line before a few times on Craiglist and a few items on ebay. It was very intimidating and I didnt really enjoy the experience.
I have many things and ideals of what I want to achieve, just the scary part and my own self- esteem was holding me back.
I love crafting, i have many skills in that department. I began "scrapping" about 10-12 years ago. Scrapping metal that is. Its an up and down business. And alot of physical sweaty work. I can take apart anything and youtube is your friend is you want to learn how to do anything. My best tip for scrapping is... When gas is high, scrap pay-outs are high...so right now, May 2022...scrap is paying really well.
Driving around and looking for scrap metal and aluminum cans lead to "curb shopping". At first it was stuff I wanted to repurpose or just flat out sale. I love giving a Garage/Yard Sale. Last year I had 3 and made about $600 total at all 3.
These things became a nice side hustle but not enough to make a living. And make a living was my end game, I'm tired of working for greedy, mean, ugly people.
In the beginning I wanted my own building to live and work in and have a retail store with everything I could get my hands on. My own personal swap meet, thanks Grandpa Roy for that summer my sister and I were there and he drove us to the swap meet in a van, he bought specifically for this adventure, full of pet supplies he had bought from some pet store that went out of business. There was of course other things, a traveling garage sale at a saturday/sunday swap meet. Learned alot and was hooked...lol
