Got a little bit different update, but an update none less. I decided to do something simple and made an RPG bow wielding elf, as one does.

THE ART IS NOT MINE! I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR IT AND THE ARTIST IS UNKNOWN!

I made the vector files for the cutout and the base, but not the art. The bow needs a little fixing, and the tolerance for the base is a little loose since both parts I custom made and I guess I didn't measure correctly. I also gave it one last quick pass of the laser to try and add more detail to the art and kind of messed up the detail. Some parts like the legs and cloak are perfect, but then places like the RPG heads are muddled. Besides that, pretty kool. I wonder if she can hang with the obscene number of Zaku gunpla I've built... If anyone wants a mini cutout of their DnD character or even to commission custom character art (because I do that too!) then contact me!

I've also glued some of my Mjolner amulets together that are looking good.

And finally, I built a jig to make bracelets with. I'm going to recreate this blue bracelet and probably add a few extras as well.

Time to play the game called "Which piece is which and why the hell didn't I label them". This is like trying to put a Gunpla or Lego kit together without the instruction manual. You live and learn. At least no one will know the difference if I mess something up as long as it still looks alright in the end... 😹

(Currently trying to match the pieces back to their cutouts so that I can hopefully be able to compare them to my .SVG cut files and make since of all. If anyone still can't tell, this is a 3D model of an HK Mark 23 pistol that has been sliced into layers. Plan on having functional (moving, not actually firing) slide/slide release, trigger, magazine, etc and soon to follow will be a suppressor and laser device, Metal Gear Solid "SOCOM" style.)

It's time to put the Eso(teric) in EsoTerra.

"Esoteric describes knowledge, concepts, or interests that are intended for or likely to be understood by only a small, specialized group. It generally refers to things that are obscure, highly complex, or require specialized, "insider" information to fully grasp."

My mind is in 7.3 different places. The existing works will have an update today, as well as something I just started this morning (the image, ignore it, it's not even an exact schematic. Just moving it from one device to another.) The poem I also created, but what is more important are the thoughts and ideas behind it that may come to be a custom keepsake (at least ONE for myself). The normal person usually does not have the time, or even if so, the knowledge of such things. This is where the word Esoteric comes from. That's why you track down your local shaman in times of need.

In the mean time I'll be chanting along tunes while I mess around with calipers and rulers and try to rend an SVG file into existence out of pure nothingness.

Updates still coming soon! I've just been a little burnt out lately. I already have a pretty good grasp on using GIMP, but self learning how to 3D model with Blender has been daunting. I hope to eventually be able to model things entirely by myself, but in the mean time I at least need to know how to alter existing meshes to suit my needs.
