Ever wonder what goes into just one mug? It is a lot more than mud and a wheel! 👐

1. Prep the clay
2. Weigh the amount of clay
3. Throw it on the wheel
4. Trim it
5. Make the handle
6. Attach the handle
7. Add a design on the mug, if preferred
8. Dry it until bone dry
9. Load the kiln and bisque fire
10. Cool, unload, and check for cracks
11. Glaze it
12. Make sure the bottoms are clean
13. Glaze fire
14. Cool, unload, and inspect

Every step by hand, right here in East Tennessee. That is why no two are ever exactly alike. ✨
