🌿✨ Rivers Edge — A Showpiece Aquascape by Madalyn Bentz ✨🌿

We are excited to share Madalyn's latest creation — Rivers Edge — and it is absolutely stunning.

Built in a massive WIO 120SF Rimless Aquarium, this scape captures the natural beauty of a river's edge with dramatic WIO Jade Stone and boulders forming the hardscape foundation. The Dark Artist Florabed substrate ties everything together beautifully, while lush Anubias and mosses bring the scene to life both submerged and emersed above the waterline — ferns and mosses spilling naturally over the hardscape just like you would find in nature. 🌿

The whole scape is lit by Hygger Max Pro pendant lights which bring out every detail and give the tank that incredible showroom quality glow.

This is exactly the kind of aquascape that reminds you why we fell in love with this hobby. 💚

What. A. Day. 🍸🌿

Our first ever Fish & Plant Swap is in the books and we are still smiling — despite the fact that Mother Nature had other plans. It was colder and windier than any of us were hoping for, but you all showed up anyway and made it something really special.

Eighteen vendors who didn't let a little wind stop them. A crowd that came out in the cold. Live jazz that somehow made it all feel like a party. We couldn't have asked for a better group of people to launch this with.

We'll be honest — this was our first rodeo and we were figuring things out as we went. Your patience and good vibes made all the difference.

The verdict? Cold weather, warm community, and we are absolutely doing it again in the fall. 🍂 Details to come — stay tuned.
