ABOUT US

We are a dynamic duo based in just outside of heaven (Chapel Hill) in NC. Life is short, and our mission is simple: We love creating products that bring joy, and we especially love being able to give back to our community. Our official company name is Back to Barks. W

hy? Because we wanted to help senior animal rescues as senior animals are often overlooked for adoption. So often, seniors are so appreciative of having a loving homes to live their golden years. We rescued two senior Chinese Cresteds, and they were the light and joy of our lives for 5 years. OUR PRODUCTS

Welcome to Whimsical Wire & Glass by Back to Barks where you will find beautiful handmade wire wrapped creations, many of which include glass, glass beads and Austrian crystals. Our gorgeously hand-painted aluminum ornaments, some of which are from recycled beverage cans and others which are painted on aluminum stock on both sides, benefit non-profit charities and breast cancer research. From three-dimensional (3D) suncatchers with handblown glass birds to two-dimensional wall hangings and mobiles, you’ll find a wide selection of beautiful and unique gift ideas for your friends and family. We also have a limited number of truly one-of-a-kind gifts like 3D wire sculptures and glass or acrylic beaded trees. Many of our most popular two-dimensional products come packaged with a card and special saying, making them the perfect inspirational gift. Speaking of gifts, we offer gift wrapping with our very own Whimsical Wire & Glass wrapping paper! We can include your special gift message on our Barb the Bird card as well. Check out our Nut Jobs(TM) collection - felted critters on the half-shell. Each walnut shell is wrapped in copper wire and stuffed with a hand-felted little critter. There are so many to choose from, it's hard to pick just one.
