We're at the point where I'm getting TCGs, including Pokemon, sent to use before release date. A younger version of me would have absolutely lost his mind over this.

A younger me would see the cards online, watch YouTube openings, and count down the days until I could finally get my hands on them.

The funny part is that adult me is heading to an overnight shift for a special project at my "real job," so I won't even have time to enjoy this moment or make the most of it.

But then I remember something.

Some kid is going to open this and feel exactly how I would have felt back then. Some collector is going to pull the card they've been chasing. Some investor will hold this and keep it minty for the future. Some adult will open this and feel like a kid again. Some parent will surprise their kid with a box they weren't expecting.

I get to be a small part of that.

One day this will be the real job. Until then, we keep building.

Some stores aren't happy with Marvel superheroes play boosters dropping below their distro price... but it's honestly not even something I think about. My business goals are deeper than pinching pennies on every single play booster and I think that makes me and my customers happy little tigers.
