Wrapped production on the new beanies yesterday, and I couldn’t be more excited, they’re officially live on the site just in time for that classic Burgh fall chill These beanies are 100% ORGANIC cotton, allowing your head to breathe while staying cozy & warm. It features a snug fit to keep the cold air aht, and my signature slippy season design on a Premium Vegan Leather Patch.

Your friendly neighborhood maker spent the day rocking some OLD SKOOL LuluZ Designs, ordering supplies, bookkeeping and recharging her vitamin D levels in the sun. It’s not every day Pittsburgh kicks the clahds aht’a the sky, so I always try to take advantage!

Once I got my sun boost, it was right back to my little studio to crank out some more magnets. The best part of the day? A surprise package arrived! My new 100% organic cotton beanie blanks are officially here! They are super cozy, snug fitting, and I cannot wait to start producing them with my new vegan leather slippy season patches. Studio vibes were high today 🙌

Thank you Mt. Lebanon and the Anawanda Arts Festival for having me today! It was hot and humid, but you showed up! I had a great time chatting with new customers and seeing old friends. You sold me out of 4 magnet designs, several tees, and I gained a whole page of new subscribers, including a waitlist for Steel Town Crops. Today, I got to spend time with friends and family while helping to raise money for Family House at the annual Polo Match. Our generous Burgh Crafted community donated 4 baskets full of handmade gifts, jewelry, apparel and decor and I must say our baskets looked AMAZING!

The rest of the day I spent preparing for tomorrow’s market in Mt. Lebanon at the Anawanda Arts Festival ! I just wrapped up a wicked game of Tetris packing my car and I’m ready to hit Yinz with all the Pittsburghese you could ask for. So, while my face may currently match my mug 😉 I’m pumped to end the weekend strong tomorrow, surrounded by other creatives 🙌.

Do you wanna know a secret? Today I played hooky and hit up Millvale with one of my favs Wren & Rita . We started at Lemon Tree PGH Is A Coffee Shop where the Build Your Own Bagels looked amazing, and the cold brew was so refreshingly strong that I may have gotten the caffeine jitters 🤫. We ended on a high note at AV Tea Co. with some matcha dessert, fresh iced tea and some new brews for home! It was an amazing day of two small business owners supporting other small businesses. If you get a chance, shop small this weekend, your small biz friends need you. And if you want to say Hi 👋 I will be at the Anawanda Arts Festival Sunday from 11-4pm.
