We are incredibly honored and grateful to Plum High School’s R.I.S.E. Program for inviting Spectrum Fudge to be part of such a meaningful graduation celebration.
A heartfelt thank you to Gina Dessell, Special Education Teacher and Transition Coordinator, and Dr. Denise Lohr, Director of Special Education and Student Services, for the work they do to help students grow, gain confidence, and prepare for life beyond the classroom.
We also want to recognize the four amazing students who spent time with us at Spectrum Fudge. Each of them showed hard work, focus, kindness, and pride in what they were doing. It was a privilege to watch them learn, contribute, and become part of our team.
We are also grateful for the current Plum students who continue to work with us, as well as the many students and volunteers from other schools who come through our doors.
Every student brings something special to Spectrum Fudge, and seeing them gain confidence, build skills, and take pride in their work is exactly why this partnership means so much to us.
Receiving the Mustang Champion Award means a great deal to us, but the real reward has been getting to know these students and seeing what they are capable of when they are given the opportunity.
A special thank you also goes to John Barner, pictured holding the award in the gray chef jacket. John has done an outstanding job working hands-on with the students and volunteers at Spectrum Fudge.
His patience, leadership, and genuine care have helped create an environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and capable.
We are proud to stand beside Plum High School’s R.I.S.E. Program and proud to continue helping students gain real-life experience in a real work environment.
Thank you for allowing Spectrum Fudge to be part of something so special.
