Working on some twirly dresses today!

These dresses feature a full circle skirt and a lined, sleeveless bodice. This is based on the Tofino pattern from .

The Disney fabrics are from Joann, but the light blue on the bottom is an organic cotton interlock knit from , available in my shop. The red lining is double brushed polyester, which is also available in my shop. I also have a ton of other cotton and polyester knits so that you can make your own twirly dress.

I am teaching a sewing basics class this month through . In this three week class, I will teach you how to prep and cut fabric and sew it all together to make a cute little tote bag. Class starts on Wednesday March 5 and there is only one spot left! Register today at fcaae.org.

Top sellers of 2024! I'm not surprised that glimmer solids gold from is number 1. It is by far my best seller since I opened in 2018. It adds the perfect touch of sparkle and elegance without the mess of glitter or added stiffness and weight of metallic prints. It's a golden color with metallic gold threads woven in.

Have you tried the glimmer solids yet?

And yes, the order bothers me. This image was generated by Etsy and I wish the glimmer gold was at the top.

Check out this fun event . There will be a performance of Christmas carols from , crafts, cookies, cocoa, Santa, and a market! I will be set-up at the market with some T-shirt quilts on display as well as some Christmas tree skirts and other items that'd make great holiday gifts.

We had to reschedule the plush pumpkin workshop. It's now on Wednesday, October 23 starting at 5:00. Can't make it till a little later? That's ok! Come when you can.

Location: in Aspinwall
Grab a hot dog and some ice cream for dinner (or save some calories and just have the ice cream) and make a cute pumpkin. It's beginner friendly and kids can help decorate!

Learn to sew and make things out of fabric!

First up is a two night sewing basics class where I will walk you through the process of making a simple tote bag. This class is being taught through and while it is sold out, you can still get on a wait-list or please send me a message to let me know that you're interested in that class or if you have ideas for other sewing classes. I hope to be able to offer this class and/or another sewing class in the spring.

On October 20 from 12-2, I'll be teaching you how to make plush pumpkins. These are so cute and easy to make. It's a great way to introduce beginners to sewing and get everyone in the family involved in decorating. See the link in bio to register!
