Final reminder: Your summer reading trackers are due by the end of the day today!

Come turn your summer reading trackers in and make sure you grab all the amazing prizes you've earned!

🍕 Updates: A lot of you have asked when the pizza party will be, and we don't know yet. We have to see how many trackers are turned in first to determine where we can host the event. Rest assured, we'll let you know ASAP

Join us next Saturday for our first year participating in Breezefest! We'll have some amazing reads for you, as well as all the normal fun you expect from our store like stickers, bookmarks, blind dates with books, journals, and more!

(The store will also be open regular hours if a low key air conditioned setup is more your vibe)

You know what we hear a lot in our store? "It must be so fun to run a bookstore!" And it is.....(most of the time)

Now you have your own chance to try your hand at running a mini bookstore for a month here at Blythe Books. Curate your own selection, write out shelf talkers, decorate with an esthetic that is all yours - and capitalize on financial gains when your books sell!

We'll split the proceeds of your sales between you and a charity of your choice. And if you manage to sell out your entire collection before your month is over, Blythe Books will make an additional donation to your charity in your name.

Spots are limited and a few have already been snagged by some eagle-eyed visitors to our website. Grab your spot and start planning out your dream bookstore inventory!

It's Summer Santa here, stopping by for a big announcement: holiday boxes are back this year and bigger than ever!

Our holiday boxes are filled with 12 amazing items curated just for you! Each one is wrapped individually for you to enjoy, and many are sourced from lpcal artisans and vendors that you know and love!

The overal retail amount for this box is $132, but early birds will save some money and be able to reserve their own box for $120 if they act quick!

A few important details for you:
🎅 These boxes are extremely limited and will sell out! If you want one, plan ahead!

🎅 Boxes will be ready for pickup on November 16th

🎅 You can use store credit to buy your box

🎅 Boxes go on sale on October 1 for the $120 price. If any boxes are still available on November 1 the price jumps to $132.

🎅 Boxes are only available to purchase online

🎅 We can and will happily ship these boxes anywhere in the US - additional shipping charges will apply

What a crazy 9 days it's been at the store! Thank you to everyone who showed up to support our store at the 2nd

We always like to be really transparent about our store and how our business operates, so take a look at just how much your business these last few days has benefited our store.

Our little store was so happy to welcome so many of you in during the Crawl, but remember that small businesses don't thrive on one week of business alone. Be sure to stop by and support us throughout the year - we always have great finds for used books just waiting for you!

Surprise! To kick off the final weekend of the 2026 Great Pittsburgh Book Crawl, local author RL Davennor will be in store from 10-12pm tomorrow to meet fans and talk about her fantasy fairy tale books. If you haven't read her twisted fairy tale series yet, this is the perfect opportunity to start! Books will be available to purchase, along with extra goodies too!

Blythe Books is currently looking for local artists and instructors to host a workshop at our store this fall season. Please read below for the requirements:

🍂 Class must last between 60-120 minutes
🍂 Our store can accommodate 10-12 people comfortably
🍂 You set the price - Blythe Books will add a % on top of that to cover our costs
🍂 Classes could be in art, fiber making, textiles, writing, tarot, health and wellness, etc.
🍂 Classes would be hosted outside of our normal business hours - please familiarize yourself with our store and our hours before applying.

It's been a busy week of book crawling and we're not done yet! The 2026 Great Pittsburgh Book Crawl continues through Sunday, and it's never too late to join in on the fun.

We're open extended hours the rest of the week to welcome you in for the Book Crawl:

Thursday: 11-7pm
Friday: 11-7pm
Saturday: 10-7pm
Sunday: 10-4pm

Our glitter stickers have been flying off the shelves this week too! We only have a handful remaining. These will not be reordered, so be sure to grab one before they're gone for good.
