For those of you that don’t know, The Crow’s Nest is proudly a le***an owned business. When I was making the choice to open this store the driving force behind that decision and one of the primary reasons we exist is to provide safe spaces and community. If you are an LGBTQ+ group and you are looking for a space to hold events, our clubhouse is available to you at no cost and always has been (so hit me up if you haven’t). If you belong to any letter of the LGBTQ+ community, you and your identities are welcome and safe and celebrated and wanted and encouraged here.
No matter what else is going on in the world, as long as The Crow’s Nest exists we will exist as a pocket of defiance against anything and anyone that wants to see us go away. We are and will continue to be loudly and unapologetically gay AF.

June marks the third birthday of our beloved store and we want to celebrate with our community, those of you who have supported us, kept us going and allowed us to be a part of your personal journey. So of course, we’re having a party🎉🎉🎉

It you don’t already know, our store is named for The Morrigan, a Celtic Goddess of divination, sovereignty, war and fertility. When I opened the store, I dedicated it to her and everything we do is for the purpose of empowering women in their divinity because that is what she would want. Unsurprisingly, many of the people who are drawn to The Crow’s Nest are also drawn to The Morrigan and I’ve recommended this book so many times, it only makes sense to have it on the shelves. This is the book that I used at the beginning of my journey and now it’s available to all of you!

Don’t miss our Beltane ritual May 3rd from 12-2. Beltane is the one of two points of the wheel when the veil between the living and the dead thins making it the perfect time for a cemetery field trip. Our intention is to connect with those who may no longer receive visitors and to commune with the dead as a reminder not to resist change and to allow transformation rather than block it. Everyone will receive tokens to bring and information to ensure we are moving with reverence and protection. Snacks and good company will also be provided, all you need is your tarot cards.
