A Choice and a Chance for Sophie

This is a tough one, a kind of "Sophie's Choice" situation. And, as it happens, the cat in need is named Sophie.
Sophie's family is moving to Pittsburgh from out of state. The only apartment they found that was affordable and
amenable to taking cats will allow only 2 of their 3. They made the heartbreaking decision to keep the 2 cats who
they feel would be less adaptable to change with them, and attempt to find a long term foster for Sophie.This could be a year long foster and the family very much wants to be reunited with Sophie eventually. Sophie is in good health, spayed, UTD on shots, tested (-) for Felv and FIV. She is loving with people and enjoys being petted. She has lived with other cats but has never been around dogs. The need to find a place for Sophie is urgent and immediate.
