Animal Advocates Thrift Shoppe Our shop supports the efforts of our non-profit organization: Animal Advocates of Pittsburgh, PA. Es You never know what you may find!

Whether you are looking for that one of a kind collectible, a unique piece of gently-used clothing, holiday themed decorative housewares, a new toy and bandanna for your four- legged friend or just something to catch your fancy, you may want to check out our resale shop. From rocking horses to Jade-ite ware, we've had it all! We try hard to keep our prices competitive with other local resale shops. And our volunteers work tirelessly to offer you a shopping experience in a clean, friendly environment. Our shop, and in fact the entire organization, is completely volunteer run. We can accept donations anytime the shop is open, and we do have tax receipts. Due to the limited space in our shop and small storage area, we cannot accept the following:
Large appliances
PC's
Large furniture
Mattresses
Encyclopedias
Large or bulky sports equipment
Men's clothing
Out of season, stained or torn clothing
Because of our organization's philosophy we cannot accept items made from leather, fur, silk, or down. We are always happy to welcome new shop volunteers. Just stop by and ask one of our volunteers for an application! You can also call the shop at 412-928-9837.
