Sometimes plans change, and people really show up for each other. ❤️🍂

After the Ebenezer and Henry Covered Bridge Festival sites had to cancel this weekend, the folks at Brownlee Covered Bridge/McGuffey Community Park opened up more space and welcomed displaced vendors so Covered Bridge weekend can still go on.

That kind of community spirit is exactly what makes this weekend so special every year. Instead of letting the cancellations put a damper on things, they’re making room, bringing in more vendors, and helping keep the big fall festival weekend we all love going. 🧡

We’re so thankful they had room for us, and we’ll be there this Saturday & Sunday with all the new things I’ve been working on — earrings, Halloween, fall, pumpkins, candy corn sets and more!

Well… this is definitely not the post I wanted to make today 😭

The Covered Bridge Festival at the Ebenezer Bridge site has been cancelled this weekend because of flooding and unsafe conditions at Mingo Creek Park.

This is one of our biggest weekends of the year, and I’ve spent all summer getting SO much ready for it — new Halloween earrings, pumpkins, candy corn, and a whole lot more. So I’m pretty heartbroken about this one.

The good news is, none of it is going to waste ❤️

I’ll be bringing all of the new stuff with me to Ebensburg next Saturday, September 26 — including the pumpkins and candy corn sets so many of you look for every fall. 🎃

If you were planning to come see me at Covered Bridge this weekend, I hope I get to see some of you in Ebensburg instead. 💛
