Slick3D Designs 3D Designing and models Slick3D Custom 3D Designs and Models are created in Pittsfield Illinois by Rick Musgrove IV.

He is a 2019 graduate of Pittsfield High School and began learning the basics of 3D design while in CADD class (Computer Aided Drafting and Design). He chooses his projects from local historical landmarks and popular events. Each design pays close attention to detail and takes hours to complete. y. Slick3D utilized two types of 3D printers, the first is a FDM dual extruder, it builds parts layer-by-layer from the bottom up by heating and extruding thermoplastic filaments. The second type of printer is the SLA resin printer, this process uses liquid resin, and an ultraviolet laser to build 3D objects layer-by-layer. The printing process is not a speedy one and some of the designs take 20 hours to print. Rick enjoys designing and making new products and is excited to be working alongside the Historical Society in Pike County to provide gifts and souvenirs.
