One of the best parts of fair season? Hearing directly from the people who love our products! 💛🐐

We caught up with a customer and her family at Fryeburg Fair last week and heard why they love our goat milk soaps. We’re so grateful for everyone who supports our farm, shares our products with friends, and keeps coming back for more!

Goat Care: Summer vs. Fall 🍂🍁🐐
As the seasons change here in Maine, so does our routine at the farm. Fall brings cooler temperatures, shorter days, and a few extra things to keep in mind when caring for our goats.

🌾 More hay: As pasture growth slows, good-quality hay becomes an increasingly important part of their diet. Our barn is full of incredible hay for these colder months ahead!

💧 Fresh water: Hydration is just as important in cooler weather, so we keep a close eye on water as temperatures begin to drop. Clean water is critical year round.

🐐 Healthy hooves and coats: Possible wet, muddy conditions mean extra attention to hoof health. Cooler days mean the girls will begin growing their thicker winter coats.

Responsible goat care is about paying attention to the little things and adjusting with the seasons. As we head into winter, we’re making sure our herd is ready for the extreme weather! 🤎
