5 years ago today, I started teaching guitar at Rock Street Music. It’s hard to believe. Through all the crazy life changes, seeing my guitar students each week has remained constant for all these years. I am very grateful.

To all the students who have sat in this chair, past and present, thank you for allowing me to do what I love! I hope you’ve learned as much from me as I have from you. 🎸

Colby and Sammie Gashi debut at Gober’s Deco Lounge! It seems like just yesterday they were both playing their first show. I’m so proud of both of them for how far they’ve come in music and in life. Amazing job to Colby and Sammie!!

Hi everyone! It’s not too often I post here nowadays, but we’re still doing our thing at Rock Street Music!

This Friday, 7/8/22, my long time guitar student Colby and his sister Sammie will be making their debut at Gober’s Deco Lounge!! I am so proud of them and all of their hard work. They are excellent role models for any young person who wants to take the plunge into learning music. If you have the chance, come see them live this Friday at 7:00!

Be safe and have fun today! This week we welcome Verbally Intoxicated Host and Wyoming Area’s Biggest Fan to guest call Thursday night’s Bingo from 7-9! Friday, a most talented sibling duo, The Gashis make their Deco Debut with Live Music from 7-10! Help us give everyone their big Gober’s welcome!

This week’s menu will bring us back to the Brauhauses and Biergartens of Bavaria for Kate’s Birthday: Ham & Cheddar Soup, Beef Gulaschsuppe, Giant Soft Pretzel with Düsseldorf Beer Cheese Dip, Bratwurst Sandwich with Warm German Potato Salad, Schnitzel with Bacon Mushroom Cream, Onion Spaetzel, & Red Cabbage.

Been doing these interviews for about two weeks now. Talking to people from the NEPA music scene about how they are navigating their way through the Covid-19 crisis. We've tried to get different perspectives on things from some very talented people, and we've talked to everyone from working musicians to club owners, concert promoters, record store owners, venue managers, record producers and label executives. Later today, we'll be posting our conversation with Richie Kossuth of Rock Street Music. The company provides production and sound and lighting gear for both club shows and major events. It also has a storefront music store, where it sells musical instruments and offers lessons. Richie is also the founding member of the band Flaxy Morgan and still performs at numerous shows throughout the year, including many outdoor summer events. Later today, we'll chat with him about how Covid-19 is affecting all of it.

And so we cap off another great year of guitar lessons - I can’t thank all of you enough! I’m so fortunate to do something I love, and be able to work with incredibly talented and dedicated students. All of your kind words and support throughout the year means everything! I am so proud of everyone and can’t wait to see where the next year takes us.

Hello everyone!

Just a reminder that this Tuesday, 12/17 will be our last lessons until after the new year. We will go on a break for two weeks and will be back on schedule for Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

Thank you for all your support throughout the year, I couldn’t be more proud of my guitar students, I am so lucky to have such a great group! I wish all of you happy, safe holidays and also a healthy and happy 2020!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I am thankful to all of you, my guitar students, parents, and friends and family who have been so supportive throughout the years. Many of you have been students for several years and have become like an extended family. I'm so fortunate to be able to see each of you every week!

Each student, past and present, no matter what age, skill level, amount of lessons taken, has had a huge impact on me and I am so thankful for each of you and for this whole experience.

I would like to wish you all the best this holiday season!
