one started as a simple faith tee, but I knew I wanted to give it a little more personality. ✂️🧵 Using fabric I already had, I opened the sides, added patterned panels for extra room, and finished it with a ruffle around the bottom. I love taking something simple and finding a way to make it feel completely my own. ❤️

Sometimes creating isn’t about starting from scratch—it’s about seeing new possibilities in what we already have.

Three days, eight songs, and so many handmade details. ☂️✨

This special umbrella was created for the children’s room at our church, with eight faith-inspired song panels and lots of little details made with love.

But a custom umbrella like this doesn’t have to be just for a church. It can be designed around a theme for a special celebration, event, shower, birthday, or any occasion that deserves something truly unique.

I’m working on a new project, and every once in a while I get to look up from my computer and enjoy this beautiful view.

Creating isn’t only about the finished piece. Sometimes it’s about enjoying the process, noticing the little things around us, and being grateful for the moment we’re in. 🤍

Yesterday, one was ready and nine were waiting. 🍂 Today, the last bow is finished and all 10 fall door hangers are DONE!

From painting and sealing to adding the final bows, it’s so satisfying to see the whole collection come together. 🤎

A little behind-the-scenes look at Betca Gifts & Designs. 🤎

When one project needs time to dry, I don’t exactly sit and wait… I start another. And sometimes another. 😂

That’s how several ideas end up sharing my worktable at the same time — each one at a different stage, slowly becoming something finished.

And that peaceful view at the end? That’s what I get to look at while I create. ❤️

I created this little fall collection around four simple thoughts:

Let go of what was.
Have faith in what’s ahead.
Be grateful for what you have.
And keep chasing your dreams.

Each piece was handmade and finished with its own little details, because I believe the message can be just as meaningful as the piece itself.

This one has a story. ❤️

This cross-stitch pillow kit was still sealed and untouched after more than 40 years. I found it at Goodwill for just $2.99, brought it home, and finally gave it the chance to become what it was always meant to be.

From hand stitching the design to sewing the finishing touches, I loved bringing this forgotten little project to life.

Sometimes creating isn’t about starting with something new. Sometimes it’s about seeing the possibility in something that has been waiting for another chance. 🤍
