Is consumer etiquette a thing of the past?
A customer comes to you for a custom order with a deadline of tomorrow.
You consider the order, but state that there will be an express service fee added on to the order.
The customer is appalled. Outright disgusted by the idea that they would have to pay extra for a rush service.
-Why are small businesses so undervalued?
-Are small businesses owners supposed to drop everything else, to be accommodating?
-Are we presumed to be desperate for an order?
What gives?
