We put an MIT student and a UFC fighter head-to-head in a robot fight.

Adam “Bomb” Livingston knows fighting.
Griffin Patterson knows robots.

So what happens when we give them each a humanoid robot and let them settle it?

Watch the full fight on YouTube at the link in our bio.

From 3D-printed prototypes to CNC-machined baseplates.

Tony gives a quick look at how we’re developing swappable payload mounts for our quadrupeds — testing fast, iterating, and turning ideas into real hardware.

Thanks to our friends at SQ4D for helping bring these parts to life.

It’s safe to say that Larry was excited to meet jackass fans at the theatre! Thank you to Regal Deer Park for hosting Larry and the whole Robostore crew to check out his big debut..

The Unitree R1 is officially available in the US through RoboStore.

Named one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2025, the R1 is one of the most anticipated humanoid robots to hit the market. Not because it's the biggest or most powerful, but because it's the first full humanoid platform that makes real deployment and research accessible without a six-figure budget.

24 to 40 degrees of freedom. Up to 100 Tops onboard AI compute. Three configurations — from remote-ready out of the box to full dexterous manipulation research with your choice of hands. Starting at $8,990.

What makes it worth paying attention to right now: simulation and training tools from have never been more accessible, and the cost barrier to getting started in humanoid development has never been lower. The hardware and the software are both moving in the same direction at the same time.

We cover all of this in our latest blog; what the R1 actually is, what it's best used for, how it stacks up against the rest of the Unitree lineup, and why this moment in humanoid robotics matters.

RoboStore is the official US partner for Unitree Robotics. We hold stock, we hold parts, and we offer US-based support. Order yours today.
