👋🏻 I’ve had new followers here on my page recently and have bumped into a few people in town that have had some questions or had know idea I was the girl “painting all those hair brushes 🤣) and have given me so much encouragement since opening my little business !
So I wanted to introduce myself on here to any new followers!
I’m Kaylee Travis , the face (and hands!) behind Bead & Bristle. 🎨
I am born and raised right here in little ole Plainview tx, I’m a stay-at-home mama to two sweet little girls, and a wife to an amazing- hardworking man! There’s never been a day where I haven’t loved creating (really ask my mama …she’s still a little sour that the scissors, glitter and glue were always missing growing up 😉😆) and I feel so blessed that this little passion of mine has grown into something I get to share with others. When I’m painting and creating, I feel so close to God — it’s where my heart feels the most at peace. 💛
What I’m most known for are my signature hand-painted hair brushes, but I also love making all kinds of unique pieces: personalized hand painted decor like : doormats, mail boxes, step stools , wooden pieces etc , restoring old pieces of furniture, personalized resin-embellished hair clips, headbands, and more! You name it and I will paint
it❤️ Each piece is made with so much love, and it brings me joy knowing they’re being used and cherished in everyday life.
I don’t even know how to put into words how much happiness doing this has brought me. It means everything to me!
I’m constantly doing fun giveaways and I have sooo many exciting things lined up I can’t wait to share with you! Thank you all for keeping me busy , following along and supporting Bead & Bristle — I can’t wait to keep creating, sharing, and connecting with you all.
