We have a slight change in hours for this weekend:

2026 Needlework Marketplace News

Needlework Marketplace is an online, virtual Cross Stitch trade show happening at the end of the month, August 21st-24th.

Like other trade shows we've participated in, we will be taking pre-orders for the new releases on our website. The deadline to place a pre-order with us is August 20th.

We are adding new pre-order items daily as we receive the information from the designers.
You can find them listed under the Needlework Marketplace Pre-Orders category in the SHOP NOW section of the website or by clicking the tab at the top of the website.

As this is a virtual market, the patterns will roll into the shop over several days rather than arriving all at once. Pre-orders will ship once we receive your entire order.

Hello Stitchers!

Happy Sunday! We hope you are having a wonderful, creative weekend. We have some important schedule updates to share, along with some highlights of our newest inventory.

Please note that we will have reduced hours this week as we travel down to Charlotte NC for the Queen City Stitchers Chatelaine Retreat.

Our schedule for this week will be:
Wednesday 7/22: 10-2 (no evening stitch group)
Thursday 7/23: 10-2
Friday 7/24: 10-2
Saturday 7/25:Regular Hours 10-4
Sunday7/26: Closed

We will return to our normal hours next week. Thank you so much for your understanding!

We hope your holiday weekend is packed with family, food, and plenty of uninterrupted stitching time.

By the Bay Needleart is releasing a stitch a long titled The Book Club and as Pam is an avid reader this one is right up our alley!!

The design will be a bookshelf divided into six sections, each inspired by a classic novel: “Anne of Green Gables,” “The Secret Garden,” “Pride and Prejudice,” “Heidi,” “Little House on the Prairie,” and “Little Women.”

Our shop will host a monthly stitch together on the following Sundays from 12-4 for those participating in the SAL to keep us motivated, to ooh and aah over each other's progress and to chit chat about the books.
(You do not need to purchase the charts from us to join our monthly stitch together.)

June 14, July 12th, August 9th,
Sept. 13th, Oct. 18th, and Nov. 8th

If you are interested in participating, please reach out to us to get on the list either by email, phone, or stopping in the shop.

Happy June everyone!!

This is one of our favorite months of the year - the roses are in bloom, the grass is green, it's Kev's birthday month, Father's Day BBQs, and Grad parties!!

Trunk Shows
We are so excited to have two wonderful trunk shows at the shop right now! Summer House Stitche Workes will be visiting through the end of the month, and we're lucky to have The Primitive Hare with us all summer. We would love for you to stop by and see these beautiful models in person!

Holiday Hours
We will be closed July 3rd-5th as we celebrate the 4th.

We are going to be away July 22nd -26th. We are still making plans on whether we will need to close the shop that week or whether our son Zach will be comfortable enough to be able to handle the shop on his own - stay tuned :)

~ 2026 Stitch New England Retreat: We have closed our waitlist for this year's retreat as we currently have more folks on it than we will realistically be able to offer spots to. We'll be releasing details for the 2027 retreat later this Fall.

~ Pam will be teaching an Intro to Linen class this Sunday, June 14th. There is still space available if you are interested.

~ Needlepoint Basics Class: The August class is filling up quickly! Make sure to email Anne Marie at [email protected] if you would like to attend.

Our crazy cat, Foofanut, has been at the vet the past few days and we are finally able to bring her home this evening.

We will be closing the shop and stitch group early this evening,
Wed. June 10th, at 7pm
in order to get to her discharge appointment on time.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you are a regular Wednesday stitcher, we would appreciate if you could spread the word to your other stitchy friends that we'll be ending stitch group early tonight.
