Stacy and Colleen were honored to attend the North Texas Disability Chamber’s 2026 Awards Luncheon today, celebrating 5 Years of Impact and so many remarkable people working to make North Texas more inclusive and supportive for individuals with disabilities and their families.

One of the most heartwarming moments of the day came when Texas State Representative Mihaela Plesa, recipient of the Richard “Rick” Grady Public Service Award, gave Stacy a special shout-out during her remarks! 💜 Representative Plesa has worked at the legislative level to strengthen services, accessibility, and opportunities for Texans with disabilities.

There is something especially meaningful about being recognized by someone who is herself giving so much to our community and working at the policy level to support individuals with disabilities and the families who love them. What a beautiful moment for Stacy and such a wonderful reminder that when people who care about families connect, encourage one another, and work together, real change happens.

Thank you, North Texas Disability Chamber⁠, for bringing together such an inspiring community today. We left feeling energized, grateful, and even more excited about the work ahead!
