💥Fly Tying Night Tuesday Night @ 7PM💥

Hosted by Texas guide and industry legend Greg Welander - he will be going over how to tie his favorite white bass fly, the basics of targeting white bass, all while having a great time doing it. One rule, have fun!

Fly Tying Night at the shop is free and open to all, materials included - let us know if you need to borrow tools and we will see you there!

Happy Hour at McNeals from 5:30-6:30 for food and drinks, then it is to the shop.

Captain Will Townsend is in the house this Sunday from 12:30 until 6ish talking all things Texas coast fly fishing. We are lucky to have him up in these parts and thrilled to host him in the shop.

From tying, to casting, to the fisheries themselves, make sure to stop by and learn a little bit or a lot about flats fishing. Will has fished all over the world and is a highly regarded guide out of the Corpus Christi region. Don’t miss out and see y’all at the shop!

❤️‍🔥FLY TYING NIGHTS ARE BACK❤️‍🔥

2025 brings a new edge to tying nights at the shop! We will have a local host in to demonstrate fly designs for a specific style of fishing, starting with next Tuesday. Not only will he be tying two of his best carp designs, he will also be talking about keys to having consistent success on this widely available fish here in Texas.

-FREE for everyone, including material kits!
-Tying will kick off right around 7PM
-Please RSVP for kits, and/or tool sets needed!

Revenge of the Bonefish - Hybrid Gamechanger Style





After running into a giant barracuda that was hunting bonefish on a Bahamian flat and refusing other standard “cuda” flies and baits, it was clear a baby bonefish ‘changer was in order. Time will tell. Tried to stick to a bonefishes true anatomy with a pronounced forked tail, eye and pec fin location, and overall shape. Tied this one on IG Live yesterday and it is available to view as a reel. Have fun!!!
