Sunbelt Self Storage, Inc. is seeking a talented, energetic, and highly motivated person to join our team.
Sunbelt Self Storage, Inc. is a family owned company based in North Texas. Sunbelt currently owns and operates stores in Grand Prairie, Plano, Forney, and Northlake but are expanding to other areas of Dallas/Ft. Worth. Talented assistant managers will have the opportunity to earn a Resident Manager position as new stores open.
As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the store. This includes but is not limited to: tenant rental, property, unit and office cleanliness, sales of retail products, and assisting with the lien process of delinquent units. You must be able to offer exceptional customer service both in person and on the phone.
The part-time Relief Manager is a 32-40 hour per week position at our Plano store. You will be required to work 4-5 days per week, including some Saturdays. Overtime is paid on hours worked over 40. You will need to cover the property manager’s vacation time. Wage per hour is based on experience and we offer a bonus program for performance. You will report to the Property Manager.
Self Storage experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Customer service, retail sales, marketing experience, general office and telephone skills with a successful record is preferred.
Physical activity is an important aspect of this job as cleaning and physical maintenance will be required.
Computer experience is required on Microsoft office programs and e-mail.
Training will take place at our Plano store.
Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance is necessary as you will travel to bank and post office to perform daily responsibilities when necessary.
