When your husband reads on the goats’ vet paperwork that this breed isn’t really a lawn mower… it’s a shrub eater. 🤣🐐

So if you start seeing sticks, branches, random potted plants, and maybe even a whole fruit forest popping up in their pasture, mind your business. 🤭🌳

We basically turned the front yard into their kingdom, and these spoiled goats are only getting more upgrades as we figure things out. ❤️☀️

Now the rain on the other hand… SHEESH. 🫠

This morning Baby Hunk climbed right into the feed bin and looked way too proud of himself for me to stop him. 🤣☀️

Rainy mornings, muddy boots, and baby goat shenanigans… just another day at Bailey Homestead.

A week ago they barely knew me. ❤️

Now they come running when they see me, follow me around the pasture, and trust me a little more every day. It’s not about forcing it—it’s about showing up consistently, bringing snacks, sitting with them, and letting them learn you’re safe. ❤️

💕 I’d say we’re building something pretty special over here. 🥹❤️🐐

They’re already out making their morning announcements and letting everyone know it’s going to be a QUACKIN’ good day! 🤭

Fresh water, happy waddles, and plenty of duck chatter are on today’s agenda here at Bailey Homestead. 🌻

Monday mornings look a little different these days. 😝✨

Before the homeschool lessons.
Before the breakfast requests.
Before the endless “Mommmmm…”

There’s animals to feed, water buckets to fill, gates to check, and chores that don’t care if I’m ready for the day yet. 🐓🐐

It’s funny because if you told the younger me that one day I’d be wearing chicken socks, covered in dirt, and smiling about it… I probably wouldn’t have believed you. 😂

But here I am.

A little bit boujee.
A little bit country.
A whole lot blessed.

Just balancing motherhood, homesteading, and all the beautiful chaos one messy, swagged-out day at a time. 🌻✨
