Our story began generations ago with the Glisson family. The G5 brand was first used on the family ranch in the 1960s. The "G" represents the Glisson name, while the "5" honors Ivey William Glisson, his wife Annie, and their three children—a family of five. Farming, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and life outdoors weren't just hobbies; they were a way of life. Today, that same passion lives on as the third generation continues the family legacy.
In 1995, that passion turned into a business with the creation of The Hay Exchange, providing premium-quality hay to farms and feed stores throughout Florida. As more local families asked for a place to buy hay, feed, and farm supplies, G FIVE Feed & Outdoor was born.
