Custom case/sheath for the skeleton blade. Inspired by the king maker, Jimmy Diresta, I combined leather and wood for a hopefully unique take on a sheath. I don't carry a knife daily (schools frown on that) so this is mostly decorative yet functional to keep the blade sharp and safe in my shop. Finished with some home-made wax.

Monster fish tank stand installed yesterday for a friend. He had a rough 2x4 frame that I skinned with 3/4" birch plywood and pine trim.

100% custom built. Two XL doors to access the plumbing and supply lines and a hood to hold the lights. Even the stain was a custom blend to meet his requests.

Always a good feeling when the customer is speechless and I can make their dreams a reality.

I made this centerpiece for my sister-in-law. I found everything on her father's ranch. The steel C-channel was pulled from a rusted scrap pile with the holes already cut into it. The rough cut beam was being stored in the barn rafters and looked like the first pic, water damage and all.

I knew it would always be a candle holder centerpiece and when she said she was looking for one, I knew it had to be hers.

Cleaned everything up, flattened and sanded the wood and finished it with for a warm tone that brought out the grain and color.

I'm very proud of this piece. From conceptualization to finish it was exactly why I wanted it to be. Glad it has a happy home and tells a family story.

Wedding gift for my brother and sister-in-law. The frame is from an old oak beam I found in a barn which I re-sawed to make usable boards. The steel plate hearts were hand cut by a local welder/maker and it was finished with Walrus Oil for a beautifully smooth and protective finish.
