I wanted to share an update about Polished.

Due to unforeseen circumstances and after careful consideration, I’ve decided to close the STORE portion of Polished on September 30
This was not an easy decision, but I feel it’s the right choice for me and Polished at this time. 🥺💔

I’ve truly enjoyed having the boutique and bringing so many local small businesses into the space. I’m grateful for everyone I’ve met and will especially miss seeing my regular customers who stopped in. Thank you to everyone who supported Polished by shopping, attending a workshop, stopping in, or telling someone about us. 🥰

🫟 I will continue offering all of my beauty services at 35 North Main Street in Southington

• Lash Lifts
• Nails
• Facial Waxing

I will also still be creating my handmade items, including stuffed animals, blankets, and jewelry....

I am looking forward to seeing all of my beauty clients!!

The ducks in my actual life? They're running in different directions, hiding in the bushes, and one probably flew away.

Not all permanent makeup brows are created equal.

One of the most common questions I get is, "What's the difference between microblading, powder brows, and combination brows?"

•Microblading creates individual hair-like strokes to mimic natural brow hair. It provides a soft, natural appearance and is generally best suited for normal to dry skin.
•Powder brows create a soft shaded effect, similar to the look of brow makeup. This technique works well on all skin types and is often recommended for oily or mature skin.
•Combination brows blend both techniques, combining hair strokes with soft shading to create a fuller, more defined brow while still maintaining a natural appearance.

The best choice depends on your skin type, existing brow hair, lifestyle, and desired result.
