LONG POST, BUT LARGE UPDATES TO THE STORE:
As many of you know, Shelby and I were lucky enough to become a part of Platteville’s gaming community nearly 9 years ago. Over this time, we were lucky to meet many amazing people, grow the community to the Southwestern Wisconsin area, and ultimately follow our dreams. Over the years, as we have grown, we have always wondered what is next in life for us. This post is here to explain this next step for us.
With the help of our wonderful staff we have been able to take a significant step away from the Platteville store location, meaning we have significantly more time on our hands to focus on other projects. Originally, both Shelby and I are from the Dubuque area, and this is where our new projects will begin. Starting on October 1st, we will be returning to the Dubuque area to support the communities that originally drew us into the hobbies to begin with. This means we will be adding a new location in Dubuque, Iowa to grow, and create strong bonds with the gaming community here as well. We aim to offer all types of support for all gaming communities in the area. This means there will be a brand new store in the Dubuque area to play and engage with your favorite hobbies at.
We are thankful to the wonderful people over at Plaza 20 for giving us the opportunity to start a new adventure in our lives, and we hope the members of Dubuque will join us hand in hand for this adventure. We will be located inside Plaza 20 next to Jumpers and across from the University of Dubuque. Our event schedule at our new location will be released to follow, and we will continue to update everyone as progress moves forward. Don’t worry Platteville, we aren’t leaving you, we will still be here, and nothing is changing in our store operation. We are both ever grateful for the amazing community that has become integral in the store's operation, and ultimately allows us to follow our dreams. We are excited for what the future holds and we will be seeing you all again very soon. On behalf of the entire Deals N Dragons team, you are the reason we do what we do every day.
