Join us for an evening walk through a privately owned remnant prairie on Saturday, July 11 at 6:30 PM near Tonganoxie, KS.

This now rare landscape has persisted for thousands of years, holding deep-rooted native plant communities and living traces of the Tallgrass prairie ecosystem that once covered much of North America. With less than 4% of the original prairie remaining (and even less in our region), opportunities to experience a high-quality remnant like this are truly special.

Guided by Patti, we’ll slow down, meet native plants, and spend time connecting with this remarkable place.
