Since summer is so brief and this past winter was so long, we've decided to shorten our hours a little:

Monday-Thursday 10 to 4:00
Friday 10 to 3:00
Saturday 10 to 1:00

Happy 250th Birthday, USA!

There is much I would like to write.

For instance, the Battle of Gettysburg was fought over this very weekend, July 1-3, a scant 87 years after 1776. Casualties numbered more than 50,000. In three days. To reunite us as a country.

You get where I'm going with this.

When I was a kid I was taught to debate with courtesy, civility and respect, to seek to understand others' points of view. In the classroom!

On this Fourth of July, 2026, I hope we do more than celebrate. I hope we find a way to reunite. As Americans. ~ Kristen
