The soap dough recipe worked perfectly. Kids, and adult, tested.

Next step: should they be scented? I think it would be fun to scent them by color and see what everyone blends up with their builds.

Gauging interest:

If you've bought any of my soaps and read the ingredients (WHICH YOU SHOULD ALWAYS READ THE INGREDIENTS!!) you will notice I use soap dough to make some of the embeds.

Soap dough works like air dry clay; you mold it then let it cure. The only difference is you can bathe with it afterwards 😂🫧.

Would there be any interest if I offered mini soap dough packs for children of (almost) all ages? They would be the smaller puck sizes.

It's hot. It's humid. It is so humid.

It is a soaper's nightmare.

Why does humidity matter?

Curing. Soaps cure by losing water through evaporation. Lower humidity means it cures faster and is off the rack quicker. Higher humidity means it can take longer to cure because it can't lose water when there is water in the air already. It takes longer to come off the rack.

It is the pits.
