TLC Thrift Store Pleasant Hill

The Pleasant Hill Lay Clergy Thrift Store is in need of volunteers to help sort clothes and other items. The store is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. You can pick your day and number of hours you would like to help. The store is located at 100 Veterans Parkway. I just read the article in the "Tribune & Times" about the new thrift store donation center on 7 hiway. As you know the Pleasant Hill Lay Clergy Thrift Store is a not-for-profit business. Proceeds from our Thrift Store go to Meals on Wheels, Food Pantry and our Client Assist/Love Fund. I notice the new thrift store donation center is for-profit. They collect items and then send those items to their Independence location. Those items are sold at various stores in the area, but not in Pleasant Hill. The money made does not stay in Pleasant Hill. It is my hope that our community will continue to support our Lay Clergy Thrift Store as you have done in the past. We are so grateful for your donations.
As a reminder, donations are accepted at our Thrift Store as follows:
Thursdays--9:00-5:00
Fridays--9:00-4:00
Saturdays--9:00-2:00

Welcome. The PHLC Thrift Store is a Community Place to find wonderful items at a fair price. We then use those funds to help people in our community with food, assistance, and compassion. We are twelve congregations who strive to reflect Christ and engage in Mission and Ministry with all our community.
