This Galvan Rush 5 spent 16 months under water in the Yuba River, the owner used a snorkel to locate the rod in a log jam, after taking off the the line, and cleaning out some sand, this reel spun perfectly and the drag is smooth as butter, true story!!!

Get your kids out there! This is my youngest who learned how to cast at an early age, It was a reward for finishing his homework.
I never forced him, he was always wanting to go fishing after school. as a Casting instructor I really enjoy teaching casting 3-5 days a week. So many fly fishers dont think their kids will enjoy this hobby, give it a chance, expose them to it, at least once.
