The second lottery for deer firearm and muzzleloader seasons opens through June 30. Unsuccessful Illinois residents who applied in the first lottery drawing but were not awarded a permit, as well as non-residents, may apply. Visit https://huntillinois.org/announcement for more information.

Any of you that have hunted with us in the past 15 seasons knows how much Josey loved your company , we lost our sweet girl yesterday evening . She was going to turn 15 this coming November , she sure lived a great life and was the best dog anyone could ever ask for on the farm . She is sure going to be missed around the farm and during the coming seasons . RIP Josey Bear ❤️❤️ to the greatest companion ever
